Sony has revealed a statement last week to the Eurogamer which briefed that all PlayStation VR games will not support the DualShock 4 Controller of PlayStation 4. And this is a very bad news for the PS4 lovers, but unfortunately this is true. Sony also reversed the report and they said to The Verge that all the VR games of PlayStation will not support the DualShock 4.
Here’s the statement of Sony to The Verge and The Eurogamer —
“Almost all PlayStation VR gmaes will support the DualShock 4 controllers, but some of them will give you an improved experience and many more like use of peripherals, or the latest announced Aim controller. There will also be a Move controller and some games will require these Move controllers.”
Sony is not making all the games that only require supporting its DualShock 4. They are also making some games that will support and utilize the Move controller as well. A game named Job Simulator will require the Move controller and with the help of Move controller the game will be lot more easier to play. Actually the developer of the Job Simulator game said that, the game will need two Move controllers to play the game. So it seems that Sony has plans for all the accessories of the PlayStation 4 VR, which is good news for the PS4 VR lovers.
Two games that will support the DualShock 4 are Resident Evil 7 and Rigs: Mechanized Combat League. In addition, all the games of PlayStation 4 will be supported in PS4 VR. But all the old games are not made in the way to support VR. So using a DualShock 4 for a non-VR game is just foolishness.
The PlayStation VR of Sony will cost you around $500 which will come to you with all the accessories that you need. Though there are two packages to buy, but the other package of PS4 VR won”t come with all the accessories.
